About the Course
Purpose
The goal of the HR Administration course is to provide participants with practical knowledge and skills for the proper organization and administration of HR processes in an organization. Students will learn the basic principles of creating HR policies and procedures, managing employee documentation, and administering labor relations.
Within the framework of the course, participants will create a model of an HR administration system by working on tasks based on real HR processes. With the help of Excel and Google Sheets, they will simplify data management and reduce manual work, which will allow them to effectively use and implement the created automated system in the work environment.
Participants of the course will gain knowledge of:
- Proper organization and management of HR administration processes;
- Structured planning and optimization of HR processes;
- Development and implementation of HR policies and procedures;
- Administration of employment contracts in accordance with applicable legislation;
- Structuring of employees’ personal files and systematization of documentation;
- Management of employees’ personal data in accordance with regulations;
- Recording and control of working time, attendance and vacations;
- Correct compilation of documents related to HR administration (orders, statements, etc.)
- Administration of the process of changes and termination of labor relations;
- Use of Excel and Google Sheets for recording and processing of HR data;
- Automation of HR administration processes by creating appropriate files;
- Processing data related to the payroll process and performing relevant calculations within the framework of HR administration.
Lecturers:
Lela Kekua
- 15 years of experience in human resources management and professional development;
- Her career in human resources began at the company “Caucasus Online” as a recruitment manager;
- She also worked at the company “ICR” as a training and career development manager;
- After 8 years of work experience in the service sector, she headed the Human Resources Department of “Georgian Railways”, one of the largest employers in Georgia;
- During her time at “Georgian Railways”, she supervised a vocational education project in cooperation with the College of Railway Transport;
- She has worked as a human resources management consultant at “Adjara Group”;
- At this stage, Lela represents the Georgian office of the international company “IBA Group”;
- For Lela, it is important to share new experiences with students, to support their professional growth and overcoming difficulties.
Sopho Kacharava
- Partner of SMART Support, a business consulting and service company, Development Lead;
- 5 years of work experience in HR in the field of selection.
- Familiar with the principles of IT & Tech Recruitment;
- Worked with companies representing various industries and is familiar with their specifics;
- In addition to her main activities, she worked on the digitization and optimization of processes;
- Has a bachelor’s degree from the School of Management and Social Sciences.
Gela Cheghoshvili
- is a lawyer and labor law expert with 10 years of professional experience;
- He began his career working as a lawyer in administrative bodies. Later, he continued his work in the Legal Department of the Ministry of Labor, Health
- and Social Protection of Georgia, where he was actively involved in law-making processes. During this period, he participated in the development of legislative amendments to the Labor Code and the preparation of draft normative acts;
- Gela also has experience working in the private sector – in a law firm, where he provided legal support to clients, including, but not limited to, business and labor law;
- Gela Cheghoshvili is currently employed at JSC Liberty Bank, in the Legal Department;
- Not only his own professional development is important to him, but also sharing knowledge and experience with students, supporting their professional growth and helping them overcome practical challenges.
