AI Agents + No-Code — A New Level of Business Processes

A few years ago, automation revolved around a simple idea: processes that are often repeated must be completed. A user fills out a form, enters information into a CRM, then a message is sent and a task is created. The process becomes faster, human error is reduced, and operations become more structured. But in 2020, the main challenge for businesses is no longer just automating repetitive processes. Today, in the manufacturing environment of companies, where information changes, decisions need to be made faster, and a large part of the processes are still subject to pre-established logic.

This is where the era of AI Agents begins. If automation performed predefined actions, AI agents can no longer perform technical analysis, detailed search, work on several systems, and participate in decision-making. These changes are further accelerated by the development of No-Code platforms. What was previously a requirement for a team of DevOps engineers and care specialists can now often be done safely, for example, with n8n, Make or other modern platforms. That is why AI and No-Code together are no longer just a technology trend. They are slowly becoming the new standard for business operations. According to McKinsey’s 2025 Vision, a significant part of organizations are already experimenting with or significantly developing Agentic AI systems that operate independently in multi-player processes. This is an important point, as the market is rapidly shifting to a reality where AI is no longer just a chatbot or an assistant tool. It is an operational layer that directly participates in the execution of processes.

It is also interesting that many companies view AI in the wrong way. Its greatest value is not in the answers, but in the processes. Imagine a company that owns from various channels. In the board model, an employee reads a message, searches various systems, checks, makes a decision and responds to users. In the case of an AI Agent, it is different. The agent receives a request, checks the CRM, requires information in the knowledge base, checks the ERP system if necessary, assesses the context and prepares several options for action or response. This is no longer just automation. This is a digital operator participating in the work. According to Microsoft’s Work Trend Index, organizations are already preparing for a mixed work model of people and agents. In the study, some of the managers also plan to add Agent Specialists and AI workforce management in the near future. However, it is interesting that the biggest changes are not in the technology, but in the business architecture. For years, they worked around programs. An employee entered the CRM, ERP, Help Desk or other system and performed specific actions there. AI Agents will completely change this logic. A new model where a person enters the program. He simply describes the goal. And the rest is done by ground coordination.

As for the discussion, as for the last interfaces, they will be significantly reduced. Gartner predicts that by 2026, 40% of enterprise applications will be protected by task-oriented AI agents. However, there is a flip side to this. The more decisions a system makes, the more important control becomes. Recently, issues such as data security, analysis of AI-excluded ratings, transparency of decisions, and process monitoring have become increasingly relevant. Gartner is already warning companies that AI agents are fast and provide a suitable management model mechanism without creating a micro-operational mechanism. Therefore, companies are designing more than just adding agent technologies. They are trying to build a system where AI acts, but controls the organization. This is where the important architecture is, where No-Code platforms, AI models, knowledge bases, and various business systems are united into a single ecosystem. And the most important part of this process is probably that AI Agent + No-Code has interesting operational capabilities to increase your business capabilities without proportionally increasing the team. Last year’s competition will no longer be just about the entity with more employees or being bigger. Companies that can turn information into action faster will gain the upper hand. And that’s why AI Agents and No-Code Automation are no longer just efficient tools. They are slowly becoming the new operating model for businesses.
