Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervision and control of accounting activities;
  •  Management of the accounting department / assigning tasks to employees and requiring them to be performed
  •  Formation of monthly turnover statements;
  • Submission of tax returns / calculation and payment of taxes;
  •  Development of the company’s accounting policies and procedures;
  •  Production of financial reporting;
  •  Preparation of various reports in accordance with legislative requirements (statistics, pension fund, etc.);
  •  Assistance to the Revenue Service and external auditors
  •  Accounting and control of materials (receipt, movement, write-off), participation in periodic inventories;
  •  Provision of necessary information and documentation to the company’s management;
  •  Fulfillment of tasks of the financial director / performance of other duties related to the activities of the chief accountant.

Qualification requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a chief accountant in a large company (experience as a chief accountant in production will be considered an advantage);
  •  Higher education in business administration, finance or economics; High level of knowledge of the Tax Code of Georgia and international financial accounting standards;
  •  Knowledge of accounting programs is required (knowledge of the program “Balance” will be considered an advantage);
  •  Knowledge of English and Russian is required.
