In organizations, daily business processes are carried out, but often the most important part, “why?”, is overlooked. This question is perceived as something that is already obvious. And this is where the most invisible, but fundamental mistake is born.
Two different approaches can give us the same result. However, this does not mean that both paths are equally sustainable and viable.
There is one path that only shows us the problem when it is too late.
And the second – which organizes the process from the very beginning in such a way that the problem does not even arise.
Both may give the same result today. But only one of them has long-term viability – only one has a solid foundation that begins with a question, not with instructions; with an idea, not just with action.
The most sustainable systems are distinguished by the fact that they organize a system from the very beginning, the processes of which take into account the problem, therefore it does not appear unexpectedly and the team is more ready to solve the problem.
True stability occurs where we don’t have to solve problems suddenly – because the system is set up correctly from the beginning and preliminary calculations have been made, thought out, understood and shared why the work is being done.
It is important not to assume that a person knows why he is doing something – neither in the team nor with the customer. Nor should we think that the values introduced only in the form of a presentation are understandable and sufficient for everyone. The main thing is to create a system that, along with the processes, conveys the main message, purpose and idea, because this is where long-term viability comes from.
