Main functions and responsibilities:
- Maintaining accounting records in accordance with applicable standards and legislation;
- Preparing information for monthly declarations, checking their accuracy and sending/submitting them to the Revenue Service, in accordance with the procedure established by legislation.
- Controlling month-end closing operations/balances;
- Recording fixed assets and related operations in the accounting database;
- Controlling debtors/creditors’ obligations.
- Performing other accounting activities, depending on the needs of the company
- Preparing and submitting forms requested by the Statistics Department;
- Performing other relevant tasks received from the Financial Manager;
Qualification requirements:
- Working experience in a similar position is required;
- Knowledge of international accounting standards and the Tax Code of Georgia is required;
- Knowledge of office programs is required (including good knowledge of Excel);
- It is preferable that the applicant has completed a certified accounting course;
